Job summary

Lifeguard Ambulance Service, part of Global Medical Response, is seeking a Supervisor - EMT to oversee field supervisors, EMS operations, and vehicle/equipment readiness. This role emphasizes leadership, policy enforcement, and quality patient care across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring EMT certification, 3+ years of EMS leadership, and strong communication skills to coordinate teams, assign duties, and drive continuous improvement in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (note: EMT leadership role)
• Effective oral and written communication skills, Strong reasoning skills
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Resolve field personnel inquiries and manage assignments
• Respond on ambulances to ensure compliant, quality care
• Coordinate EMS system availability during disasters or MCI incidents
• Supervise day-to-day operations and mentoring of staff
• Oversee scheduling, discipline, and performance evaluations
• Ensure adherence to company policies and EMS protocols
• Act as liaison between field personnel, Ops Manager, and General Manager
• Conduct quarterly platoon meetings and maintain meeting minutes
