Job summary

Community Care Ambulance seeks an Operations Assistant Supervisor to lead daily EMS operations and ensure patient care quality. You’ll supervise shifts, guide field personnel, and coordinate system readiness across units.

You will leverage Paramedic expertise, maintain critical certifications, and collaborate with dispatch, facilities, and leadership to uphold safety and efficiency on every call.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must complete orientation and onboarding programs.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-duty operational supervisor for assigned shifts.
• Provide real-time oversight for field operations and EMS personnel.
• Coordinate daily EMS system operations and maintain system readiness.
• Manage system status plans to ensure unit coverage and response times.
• Respond to operational needs with appropriate resource allocation and decisions.
• Act as operational point of contact in absence of senior leadership.
• Collaborate with field operations, facilities, and public safety partners.
