Job summary

Mercy Health system is seeking a Supervisor-EMS Operations to lead daily field operations and support EMS personnel in pre-hospital care and transport. You will respond to scenes to assist EMS crews, provide direct patient care, and ensure adherence to Mercy standards and code of conduct.

The role requires a Paramedic license, 5 years of field EMS experience, hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire, and PALS within 6 months. ITLS Provider preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5 years field EMS experience.
• Paramedic license (EMT-P) and valid driver’s license.
• Hazmat awareness level training.
• ACLS at hire and PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• ITLS Provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and support EMS personnel.
• Respond to scenes to assist EMS and allied services.
• Provide direct patient care per Mercy standards and care protocols.
• Serve as preceptor for EMT and Paramedic students during shifts.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as needed.
