Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks an EMS Instructor to educate EMT, AEMT and Paramedic students, developing courses per Wisconsin and national guidelines. You will apply adult learning to deliver engaging instruction and maintain class records across on-site and mobile lab settings.

The role requires state EMS credentials, CPR certification, and commitment to patient-centered education with 20 hours/week of daytime shifts. Mercyhealth supports ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• University/college degree or certificate in Emergency Care discipline.
• Two years of Emergency Care experience in Wisconsin.
• Certified EMS Instructor II preferred or in progress; CPR/Heartsaver within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and/or AHA course development following state and national guidelines.
• Provide instruction across cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains using adult learning principles.
• Maintain accurate class records and participate in varied delivery formats (day/evening, on-site, mobile labs).
