Mercyhealth is seeking an EMS Instructor to educate EMT, AEMT and Paramedic students with classroom, lab, clinical and online instruction. The role emphasizes course development, assessment and evaluation under Wisconsin and national guidelines.

The position requires a degree in Emergency Care, Wisconsin licensure, and at least two years of emergency care experience. Travel to off-site locations is expected up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• University/Community College degree or certificate in Emergency Care (EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, RN, PA, DO, MD).
• RN with BSN preferred or in BSN program.
• Two years of Emergency Care experience in Wisconsin licensed level.

Responsabilités

• Develop EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses following state and national guidelines.
• Instruct across cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains.
• Apply adult learning principles in classroom settings.
• Set clear course goals and evaluate participant progress.
• Provide timely feedback and mentorship to new instructors.
• Instruct in at least one AHA class (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Maintain accurate class records and adapt schedules (day/evening, campus or on-site).
