Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois seeks an EMS Instructor to educate emergency care providers across classroom, lab, clinical and online settings. Under supervision, you will lead course development and deliver instruction following state and national guidelines.

Responsibilities include developing courses, applying adult learning principles, and delivering AHA classes. Travel to off-site presentations 20% may be required; CPR within 90 days is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or certificate in Emergency Care discipline.
• CPR certification within 90 days.
• RN with BSN preferred or enrolled in BSN program.
• Two years of Emergency Care experience at Wisconsin licensed level.

Aufgaben

• Lead EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and/or AHA course development per state and national guidelines.
• Instruct across cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains.
• Apply adult learning principles to classroom instruction.
• Set clear goals and monitor student progress per criteria.
• Instruct in at least one AHA class (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Document and submit accurate class records.
• Teach at varied times/locations; travel up to 20% as needed.
