RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician/Dispatcher 2 for its Mobile Health communications team in New Jersey. The role handles emergency and non-emergency calls, enters data into CAD, and deploys resources following the System Status Plan.

The position includes radio duties and supports Dispatcher 1 responsibilities as needed. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, certification requirements, and preferred EMS or dispatch experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree Preferred
• PHTLS/ITLS preferred
• Prefer one year experience with Mobile Health as an EMT or Paramedic or a minimum of one year dispatch experience with another public safety or EMS agency.

Mansioni

• Answers 9-1-1 lines within 30 seconds and non-9-1-1 lines within 45 seconds.
• Enters all required information into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and ensures completeness.
• Dispatches units using System Status Plan and manages unit status across the service area.
• Performs Dispatcher 1 duties when required within the MH Central Communication center.

Formazione

High School Diploma or GED

Associates Degree Preferred

PHTLS/ITLS preferred

One year EMS/dispatch experience preferred

EMT/Paramedic experience with Mobile Health preferred

Strumenti

APCO Basic Telecommunicator or State approved equivalent

IAED Emergency Medical Dispatcher

ICs 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800
