Job summary

GRMC Recognized and Certified as seeks a Director of Applications Support to oversee daily operations of the Application Support Department and ensure reliable, secure, and effective performance of the hospital’s information systems.

The Director will serve as the SME for the hospital’s EMR, leading upgrades, implementations, and enhancements while partnering with clinical and operational teams to create solutions meeting organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated staff management experience with strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Application Support Department.
• Act as the primary SME for the hospital’s EMR.
• Lead system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements.
• Partner with clinical and operational departments to develop solutions meeting organizational needs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the Application Support team.
• Drive service excellence, process improvement, and alignment with strategic goals.
