Zusammenfassung

Candor is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Texas to empower students and support schools. A Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field and a valid TX EC-12 certification are required. CPR is preferred, bilingual skills welcome but not required.

You’ll collaborate with ARD to develop IEPs, and provide instruction in inclusion and resource settings. You’ll monitor student progress, coordinate with teams, and implement behavior plans to foster an inclusive, supportive learning

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through TEA.
• Knowledge of special education laws including IDEA and ARD process.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Develop IEPs in collaboration with the ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress by collecting and analyzing data to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Promote positive behavior with BIPs and classroom management strategies.
