PACS Group is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in providing resident care and documentation. You will assist with treatment, education, and equipment decisions, while maintaining safety and confidentiality across the facility.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the PT, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Present information to managers, coworkers and families.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate with PT and interdisciplinary team about progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and fall prevention.
• Recommend and facilitate ordering of necessary durable medical equipment.
