Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in delivering resident care and performing related duties. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, safety, infection control, and collaboration with the care team.

The PTA will assist in training Restorative Aides, educate residents and families on goals and home programs, and help with equipment needs to promote mobility and independence. Compliance with state regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Document accurately and timely per regulations.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and communicate progress.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Coordinate equipment orders to aid mobility.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Participate in quality improvement and rehab program development.
