Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the licensed Physical Therapist in delivering resident care in a California facility. You will help implement treatment plans, document progress, and ensure safety and infection control during therapy sessions.

Responsibilities include communicating with the interdisciplinary team and residents, educating families, and assisting with equipment orders to promote mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and PointClickCare documentation systems.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in California and compliant with CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident care and treatment plans.
• Document accurately and timely per facility and state requirements.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment standards.
• Participate in care conferences and team communications with physicians and families.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise, safety, and fall prevention.
• Assist with ordering durable medical equipment to promote mobility.
