UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support Mountaineer Homecare, part of the Optum family, in Charleston, WV. You will perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and education as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.

The role requires adherence to state PT practice laws, weekend availability, and the ability to assist with mobility and rehabilitation activities in diverse home settings. A robust benefits package is offered upon full-time employment.

Qualificações

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and work under the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, and functional training.
• Observe, record and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
