UnitedHealth Group, through Decatur Morgan HomeCare, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement treatment plans, guide patients in therapeutic exercises, and support mobility across home health settings.

You will follow the supervising PT's plan, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate with the healthcare team. Weekend availability and a valid PTA license are required to join a compassionate care team.

Competenze

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the applicable state.
• Valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
• Willing to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Follow state laws governing home care physical therapy and adhere to the supervising PT's plan.
• Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, and training.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within scope of practice.
• Function effectively in any home environment regardless of demographics.
