PossAbility, LLC in Illinois is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help people with diverse abilities live independently and improve quality of life. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and advocate for clients.

You will work under HIPAA compliance, follow agency policies, coordinate with treatment teams, and document care while promoting dignity and community integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Direct Care experience.
• Experience with individuals with IDD and TBI preferred.
• Knowledge of personal care tasks, household management, and meals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with ADLs/IADLs while preserving dignity.
• Support community involvement and employment goals for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation, health status, behaviors, and progress.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all activities.
