As an Employment Specialist (Career Resource Specialist), you’ll guide individuals through career goals, resumes, applications, interviews, and job opportunities.

Key requirements include a valid driver’s license and comfort traveling locally, with weekday daytime hours (flexibility for part-time).

Responsibilities

• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
• Teaching individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews
• Engaging with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities
• Coaching and guiding individuals at their job sites
• Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)
