Job summary

Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) in Attleboro, MA is seeking an Employment Specialist to help individuals with diverse abilities find meaningful employment. As an Employment Specialist (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) you will help individuals find meaningful employment.

A typical day might include the following:

• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
• Teaching individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews
• Engaging with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities
• Coaching and guiding individuals at their job sites
• Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)

• Valid driver's license and comfortable traveling within your local community
• Monday - Friday, daytime business hours (minimum 20 hours for part-time)
• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device
