Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR guidance to managers and employees, conduct investigations, and advise on disciplinary actions and terminations. You will ensure compliance with policies and laws while partnering with Legal and other teams.

You will analyze data to monitor employee relations trends and support proactive resolution, travel 0-10% as needed to company sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with plans and neutral investigations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems.
• Provide policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with multiple teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
