Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical guidance to managers and employees, conducting HR investigations and advising on disciplinary actions, terminations, and policy interpretation.

They will analyze data to monitor ER trends and mitigate legal risk, working with HRBPs and Legal to find solutions. The role travels up to 10% within the region, supports union-related clauses when applicable, and ensures compliant, proactive HR operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with neutral handling.
• Provide policy interpretation on conflict resolutions, discipline, and termination.
• Partner with Operational Management/Legal to resolve complex ER situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support, performance management, and compliance.
