Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR consultation to Managers and Employees, resolve issues, and advise on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and termination procedures.

They will conduct HR investigations to ensure compliance and guide operations with proactive HR guidance. You will collaborate with Operational Management, HRBPs, Legal teams and other SMEs to craft solutions, monitor ER trends, and help minimize legal exposure while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, org management, law, or equivalent with 4 years of required experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee HR investigations per policy and law; manage cases in systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to managers on conflict resolutions and discipline.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Labor Relations and Legal to resolve complex ER situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support with performance management and compliance risk mitigation.
