Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide consistent, tactical guidance to managers and employees on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.

You will lead HR investigations, ensure compliance with regulations, and help operations reduce risk through proactive solutions. In this role you will partner with Legal, Labor Relations, and COEs to resolve complex cases, analyze trends, and train teams on case management systems while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational management, law, or equivalent, or 4 additional years of experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; intermediate level.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; intermediate.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with neutral, timely practices.
• Provide policy interpretation to managers on conflict resolution, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business HR, Labor Relations, Legal to resolve complex Employee Relations cases.
• Deliver high-quality HR support through performance management and legal compliance; coordinate union provisions where applicable.
