St. Tammany Health System is seeking a Colleague Relations Partner to provide consultative support on colleague relations and HR policy interpretation. You will assist leaders with disciplinary matters, coordinate retention events, and represent unemployment claims and appeals.

The role requires up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws and strong communication and facilitation skills. The position emphasizes employment law awareness, investigations, and proactive policy guidance

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in HR or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of two years experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare.
• Solid understanding of HR principles, especially employee relations and employment laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide consultative services to colleagues and leaders on colleague relations matters.
• Assist leaders with disciplinary matters per STHS policies.
• Coordinate retention and recognition events; handle unemployment claims/appeal hearings.
• Facilitate dispute resolution and conduct internal investigations.
• Monitor employment laws and advise on policy changes.
