Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to counsel managers and employees on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.

The role conducts HR investigations to resolve issues in compliance with laws and company policies, and analyzes data to identify trends for proactive risk management. The position partners with HR, labor relations, and legal teams to craft solutions and ensure high-quality HR support across performance management, compliance, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Intermediate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and conducting fair, neutral investigations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide supervisors/managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
