Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to advise managers and employees on conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.

You will manage HR investigations, interpret policies, and collaborate with Legal and Labor Relations to resolve complex situations. The role requires handling confidential information, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and travel to company sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of required experience in HR, organizational management, law or related field.
• Five or more years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong knowledge of employment laws at federal, state and local levels.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, develop investigation plans, conduct fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee daily administration of concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide supervisors/managers policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operations/HR/ Labor Relations/Legal to create solutions to complex Employee Relations issues.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance risk mitigation, and collaboration with COEs.
