Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical ER consulting to managers and employees, resolve issues, advise on disciplinary actions, and conduct investigations to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role analyzes ER trends, partners with Legal and HR teams, and guides operations with impartial, confidential advice while supporting performance management and adherence to union agreements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, organizational management, law, or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR investigations per policy and regulations, using case management systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors/managers on conflict resolution, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Labor Relations/Legal to create solutions to complex ER situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support including performance management, legal compliance, and collaboration with COEs.
