Job summary

Steinhafels Furniture in Wisconsin is seeking a Sales Manager to coach, train and direct the sales team. The role focuses on customer experience, leadership, and store performance.

The manager will open/close, guide staff, resolve conflicts, participate in events, and hire new talent while maintaining high standards. Qualifications

• Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees.
• Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned.
• Requires good organizational skills.
• Position requires regular weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished.
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards.
• Handle sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve.
• Handle all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines.
• Observe sales staff to better coach a successful staff.
• Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements.
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events.
• Take part in the training of new sales associates.
• Participates in management meetings.
• Requires punctuality and regular attendance.
• All other duties as assigned.
