Job summary

Steinhafels is seeking a Sales Manager to coach, train, and direct the sales staff while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This on-site leadership role requires strong people skills and a hands-on management style.

You will open/close the store, mentor associates, handle conflicts, participate in hiring, and help build a high-performing team that aligns with our standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to motivate, communicate and train employees.
• Must complete required reports on time as assigned.
• Requires good organizational skills.
• Position requires regular weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
• Handles sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
• Handles all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines
• Observes sales staff to better coach a successful staff
• Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
• Take part in the training of new sales associates
• Participates in management meetings
• Requires punctuality and regular attendance
• All other duties as assigned
