Job summary

Steinhafels Furniture in Wisconsin is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations and drive an outstanding customer experience, sales growth, and team engagement.

You will hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, supervise daily operations, manage staffing, and collaborate with senior leadership to execute in-store events and promotions, ensuring exceptional service at every customer touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees.
• Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned.
• Requires good organizational skills.
• Position requires regular weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished.
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards.
• Handles sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve.
• Handles all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines.
• Observes sales staff to better coach a successful staff.
• Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements.
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events.
• Take part in the training of new sales associates.
• Participates in management meetings.
• Requires punctuality and regular attendance.
• All other duties as assigned.
