Job summary

Ebs Recruiters LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, drive engagement, and improve processes in a manufacturing/distribution setting. This role partners with managers and employees to implement HR programs, ensure compliance, and deliver workforce development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-focused, and experienced with employee relations, benefits, HRIS, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience administering HRIS systems; ADP experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to employees and managers on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist with performance improvement and corrective action processes.
• Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and development initiatives.
• Administer employee benefits, leave of absence programs, and retirement plans.
• Manage workers' compensation claims, return-to-work processes, and safety-related reporting.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Support compensation programs, salary administration, and annual review processes.
• Serve as a key resource for HRIS administration, reporting, and process improvements.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and compliance documentation.
• Generate HR metrics and reports to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Partner with leadership to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
