Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for manufacturing operations in Dayton, OH. The role partners with operations to handle day-to-day HR inquiries and employee relations, reporting to the VP of HR in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This hands-on position emphasizes engagement, wellness, and HR data analytics, with on-site core hours Monday–Friday and occasional schedule flexing for off-shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience with benefits, recruitment, FMLA and compliance.
• Strong employee relations background.
• Knowledge of FMLA and Workers' Compensation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for hourly staff and production leaders regarding policies, attendance, performance, and general inquiries.
• Partner with hiring managers to fill hourly manufacturing roles efficiently and oversee new-hire onboarding.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to resolve issues and support timekeeping, payroll, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, training requirements, audits, and leaves administration.
• Lead engagement, wellness, and recognition programs while tracking key metrics.
