Job summary

The Standard in Oregon is seeking a seasoned Manager to oversee growth, profitability, and retention by developing customer service strategies and guiding staff within the Employee Benefits Sales and Service Office. You will partner with the Director of Field Service to align service delivery with the sales organization’s vision.

Work with the Employee Benefits Sales Manager to meet office goals and drive long-term profitability and growth, while maintaining The Standard's commitment to service

Qualifications

• Leadership and staff guidance experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in the employee benefits field is preferred.
• Strong customer-service orientation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business plan for assigned offices to maintain profitability and growth.
• Lead and motivate staff to ensure customer focus throughout the life cycle.
• Provide leadership to manage staff's block of customers toward renewals.
• Review and resolve complex service issues escalated by staff and customers; attend broker/customer visits.
