Job summary

The Standard is hiring for a leadership role in its Employee Benefits Sales and Service Office. You will develop business plans, guide staff, and drive profitability and growth across multiple offices in the region.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, ensuring customer focus, negotiating complex service issues, and supporting office goals with the Director and Employee Benefits Sales Manager. A strong background in benefits is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years supervision experience, preferably in employee benefits.
• Licensing: Life and Disability insurance license for all states in the territory and NY.
• Other: Personal automobile available for business use with proper insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business plan for assigned offices to maintain profitability and growth.
• Lead and motivate staff to focus on the customer throughout the life cycle.
• Provide leadership to manage the block of customers toward renewals and retention.
• Review and resolve complex service issues; attend meetings with Account Managers and brokers.
