Job summary

HUB International in California seeks an experienced Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team. This role focuses on day-to-day service for employee benefits clients, managing relationships, renewals, and carrier partnerships, while guiding client needs and ensuring optimal service delivery.

You will collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional support, manage open enrollment materials, and assist with claims resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee benefits/account-service experience in a brokerage environment.
• Knowledge of ACA, COBRA and HIPAA.
• Licensed in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of an organization.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships with HR managers, directors and C-Suite.
• Plan to meet clients' short- and long-term needs throughout the year.
• Manage RFP and marketing processes; coordinate renewal planning with Producers.
• Advise on compliance matters and open enrollment (OE) administration.
• Prepare OE packets, SBCs, and disclosure notices.
