Job summary

Kapnick Insurance in Maumee, OH is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager for large group clients. You will guide the strategy from implementation through renewal, building strong client relationships with carriers and internal teams to deliver seamless onboarding and proactive service.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a Life & Health license, plus 3–5 years in group benefits, with travel as needed.

• Life & Health license required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and attend industry meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships with large group clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Guide clients through complexities of employee benefit plans, including fully insured and self-funded arrangements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver process-driven results and streamlined solutions.
• Provide proactive, customer-focused support that exceeds expectations.
• Attend renewal meetings and prepare client-specific updates for meetings.
• Lead regularly scheduled client meetings and coordinate carrier set up meetings and timelines.
