Job summary

Kapnick Insurance Group in Ohio is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to own day-to-day client relationships and the annual service lifecycle, including renewals and open enrollment, plus ongoing service. You will build trusted partnerships, anticipate client needs, coordinate with carriers and internal specialists, and drive proactive solutions while upholding Kapnick's values.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in employee benefits account management or client service.
• Experience managing an assigned book of business and coordinating renewals/open enrollments.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits products, plan designs, and carrier practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational hub for assigned client teams across the annual service lifecycle (renewals, open enrollment, plan changes).
• Lead client meetings, relay clear decisions and next steps, and ensure timely delivery of materials and communications.
• Proactively identify risks, coordinate with carriers/vendors, and maintain accurate client records.
• Translate plan provisions and technical details into practical client communications and guidance.
• Maintain high client satisfaction through proactive service, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams.
