Job summary

Kapnick Insurance is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager for the Large Group segment. You will manage relationships with big clients, guide them through insured and self-funded plans, and work with carriers to ensure smooth onboarding and renewals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, problem solving, and delivering proactive service that aligns with Kapnick’s signature dinner table experience. Travel may be required as part of client coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school).
• Preferred minimum 3-5 years' experience in group benefits.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Life & Health License required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and attend industry meetings.

Responsibilities

• Execute client benefit strategy, including new client implementations, carrier changes and renewals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver process-driven results and streamlined solutions.
• Coordinate carrier setup meetings and manage implementation timelines.
• Provide proactive, customer-focused support with timely responses.
• Develop strong client and carrier relationships and deliver value.
• Mentor Associate Team Members and assist cross-functional teams.
