Job summary

Kapnick-Insurance-Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager for large group clients in Michigan. You will manage relationships, oversee implementations through renewal, and coordinate with carriers and internal partners to deliver on our signature “dinner table” service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in group benefits, a Life & Health license, and strong MS Office skills. Travel may be required while you drive strategy, open enrollment, and proactive client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years' experience in group benefits.
• Life & Health License required.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships with large group clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Guide clients through the complexities of employee benefit plans, including fully insured and self-funded arrangements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver process-driven results and streamlined solutions.
• Provide proactive, customer-focused support that exceeds expectations.
• Lead open enrollment communication and renewal processes.
• Coordinate with carriers and TPAs to implement benefits changes and new client setups.
