Kapnick Insurance in Maumee, OH is seeking an Account Manager in our employee benefits division. You will be the primary contact handling day-to-day service requests for small business clients, coordinating renewals, enrollment materials, and carrier documents.

The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and organization as you liaise with executives, other departments, and clients to ensure accurate account information and timely service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Employee Group Benefit experience (preferred).
• 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Promptly identify and resolve client issues (administrative, billing, claims).
• Maintain client account information in the agency management system per procedures.
• Consult with Client Executive or Account Executive regularly.
• Review and prepare renewal proposals for clients.
• Coordinate renewal materials and enrollment packets with carriers.
• Oversee submission of group applications and assist with implementation.
• Act as liaison to other service departments within benefits division.
• Monitor voicemail, emails, and activities per service standards.
• Attend department and team meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with plan document creation or amendments.
• Document renewal decisions, plans and final rates in the system.
