Job summary

Global Recruiters of Denver is assisting a well-established independent insurance brokerage in Austin, TX, with a Client Manager role in the Employee Benefits practice. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned book of business, handling day-to-day client management, renewals, compliance, and open enrollment support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee benefits client management experience, broker level ideal.
• Self-funded plan experience is a strong plus.
• Active Life & Health license, or willingness to obtain.
• Comfortable presenting in client and enrollment meetings.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts with proactive client relationships.
• Design and manage tailored benefits solutions based on client goals and demographics.
• Lead renewals with proposal analysis, carrier negotiation, and plan recommendations.
• Coordinate implementation, enrollment, and ongoing program management with stakeholders.
• Monitor program performance and adjust based on utilization and feedback.
• Ensure ERISA, ACA, and related compliance.
• Develop and deliver employee education and open enrollment presentations.
• Collaborate with finance on analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations.
• Partner with sales to identify growth within the existing book.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
