Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Primary Care) to support patients through in-office clinical duties and coordinated care beyond the visit. Qualifications

• CMA required and documentation provided during application
• Two years MA experience preferred
• Primary care or outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
• Experience with team-based care models and care coordination
• Experience with adults and geriatric patients preferred
• EMR experience preferred; AthenaHealth ideal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain medical history and vitals
• Administer injections/immunizations and perform phlebotomy
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care testing
• Assist with minor procedures and wound care
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up to close care gaps
• Support chronic disease management and prior authorizations
• Collaborate with extended care team to ensure continuity of care
