Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required (documentation is requested during application prior to interview)
• Two (2) years MA experience preferred
• Primary care or outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EMR systems, AthenaHealth ideal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain medical history and vitals
• Administer injections/immunizations and perform phlebotomy
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care testing
• Assist with minor in-office procedures and wound care/dressing changes
• Coordinate referrals/follow-ups and care gaps
• Support chronic disease management and prior authorizations
