Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Primary Care) to support in-office clinical duties and coordinated care activities. You will room patients, record history and vitals, administer injections, and assist with procedures per provider protocol.

You will coordinate referrals, support chronic disease management, and help close care gaps with the care team, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Two years MA experience preferred.
• Primary care or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology.
• Experience with team-based care models.
• Care coordination or case management experience preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.
• EMR experience preferred; AthenaHealth ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical history, vitals, and assess conditions.
• Administer injections/immunizations and perform phlebotomy as directed.
• Support minor in-office procedures and wound care.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with extended care team to close care gaps.
