Job summary

Upperline Health Inc. seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Primary Care team. The MA will perform in-office clinical duties and coordinate care beyond visits, including rooming patients, taking histories, vitals, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine testing.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification and 2+ years’ MA experience, preferably in primary care or outpatient settings, with EMR familiarity (AthenaHealth) and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required (documentation requested).
• Two years MA experience preferred.
• Primary care or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology.
• Experience with team-based care models preferred.
• Care coordination or case management experience preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.
• EMR experience preferred; AthenaHealth ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through in-office clinical duties and coordinated care beyond the visit.
• Room patients, obtain history and vitals, and assist with procedures and injections.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and care gaps with the care team.
