Job summary

PMI U.S. is seeking an Early Careers Territory Sales Manager for the Eastern Region. You will own a business territory, partner with retail customers, analyze data, and drive growth through strategic execution and relationship management.

From day one you’ll learn how consumer products are brought to market while developing sales, negotiation, analytics, and leadership skills. Relocation to a major metro in the Eastern Region is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or expected prior to start date.
• Recent graduates or early career professionals with up to two years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in sales, business development, account management, consumer goods, retail operations, or commercial leadership.
• Leadership experience through internships, campus organizations, athletics, military service, volunteer work, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, resilience, and problem-solving ability.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with retail partners and become a trusted business advisor.
• Support sales growth and execution within your assigned territory.
• Use sales and market data to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
• Present business recommendations and fact-based insights to customers.
• Execute merchandising, promotional, and visibility initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights.
• Ensure product availability, freshness, and in-store execution standards.
• Manage territory administration, reporting, expenses, and point-of-sale materials.
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to support business goals.
• Develop leadership, communication, and customer management skills through real-world experience.
