Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months, with promotion to Assistant Store Manager after successful completion of the initial training.

The program requires a 44-hour work week, which may include evenings or weekends, and you will work with store management to oversee a million-dollar business.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• At least one year of experience in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams.
• Experience reading, writing, and communicating in more than one language, including Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business and contribute to development and strategy.
• Learn all operations, clients, and internal processes to understand the role you will play in the team’s success.
• Grow the company’s market share by selling to large, commercial users such as painting contractors and purchasing agents.
• Develop leadership and professional sales skills through the training program.
