Job summary

ChemTreat is seeking an Account Manager II in Bloomington to learn the ropes under senior staff while selling water treatment solutions. You will shadow, identify customer needs, and participate in strategic questioning to drive territory growth and retention.

Initially focused on building relationships and understanding key decision makers, you will gradually increase sales and margins while coordinating with technical teams to support customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; 2-4 years customer-facing experience.
• Experience interacting with customers at all levels preferred.
• Water treatment knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat's position.
• Develop key relationships with customers; identify decision makers; cold call with senior staff help.
• Increase sales and profit margins within the territory.
• Engage technical staff to develop retention and growth strategies.
• Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
