Job summary

ChemTreat is seeking an Account Manager II in Des Moines, IA. This developmental role shadows an experienced account manager and exposes you to water treatment problems and customer selling in the territory.

You will begin by assisting with sales strategies, identifying decision makers, building relationships, and collaborating with senior staff to grow sales and profitability while expanding client retention and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years experience interacting with customers at all levels; water treatment experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and implement sales strategies to drive ChemTreat's position in the assigned geography.
• Develop key relationships by identifying decision makers, researching prospects, and cold calling with guidance.
• Work with senior staff to increase sales and profit margin within the territory.
• Engage technical staff to develop retention and growth strategies for customers.
• Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
