VEG seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents during stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state
• 1+ years of emergency or specialty veterinary technician experience
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity
• Able to lift up to 25 kg and work in a noisy environment
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care and support to doctors from triage to discharge
• assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care procedures
• perform diagnostics, imaging, IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions
• maintain calm, compassionate communication with pet parents
• collaborate with team to ensure continuous patient care
