Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER teams. You'll handle a wide range of cases from triage to critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care.

You'll participate in anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and nursing care, while supporting pet parents during stressful moments. We're looking for someone passionate about growth and patient-first care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the state of practice is required.
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency/specialty preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg (assistance up to 40 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, imaging, and monitoring.
• Administer medications and support critical care patients.
• Communicate effectively with team and pet parents.
• Perform CPR and other emergency procedures as needed.
• Operate equipment and manage samples and lines.
