Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will care for a wide range of cases, from triage to critical care, while supporting doctors and providing compassionate, high-quality service to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential required in the state of the VEG practice.
• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• 1+ year of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Perform skilled procedures including IVs, monitoring, and blood transfusions as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
• Communicate clearly with pet parents and team in high-stress situations.
